Below you will find a selection of pre learning materials to prepare you for your upcoming course.

Note - Please ensure you complete all pre learning tasks before attending. Failure to evidence completion may result in you not being able to attend.

Both of these publications will provide many of the answers for the pre-course knowledge check quiz and pre-course scenarios assignment in part 3 below.

Having now completed the pre-course reading and having watched the videos above, take some time to complete the this online knowledge check.

The knowledge check comprises of:

SRC/VHF Theory Questions
1 x Scenario Questions (Mayday Voice Call)

There are 34 points available, 27 points is considered a pass. However, this is an 'open book' setting. Therefore you are encouraged to use any resources you need to to complete these tasks to aid your learning.

We will provide feedback on your answer prior to the start of your course on email.

Note - Mayday calls form a large part of the SRC exam, so practising now is key to success later!
