Hello and welcome to North Oxford Marine Training.

North Oxford Marine Training was set up to the support the ongoing development of Water Sports enthusiasts, instructors and professionals alike, who live inland.

Over the years, my team and I have met many people who live in central areas of the UK, who have travelled to coastal locations miles away from home just to do a 1 day specialist RYA Shore-based Course. In 2023, I decided the time was right to better this situation, so opened North Oxford Marine Training, situated in a central UK location. It is hoped this provides better access to such courses on a regular basis to those in and around the Oxfordshire, Northamptonshire, Warwickshire and Buckinghamshire areas, although we welcome all to our courses.

We aim to provide high quality, accessible and regular supportive shore based and online RYA courses. Many of our courses form part of the pre-requisite for RYA Practical Instructor and/or commercially endorsed certificates.

All our welcome to our courses, even if you don't currently get afloat. We can also arrange bespoke training sessions and 1:1's either at our centre or your centre/club or venue subject to availability (please just ask).
